Courses

EuroFlow Courses are short (one to five-day) in-person educational events focused on one topic. Classes will be restricted to 30 – 40 participants, or the group will be divided, allowing for sufficient attention and interaction between students and faculty. Courses will include lectures and hands-on case-solving sessions under guidance of the experienced EuroFlow tutors.

The EuroFlow Winter Course focusses on Minimal Residual Disease analysis in B- and T-ALL, Multiple Myeloma and Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia. In addition to theoretical lectures, hands-on case-solving sessions are offered for all disease types. The next Winter Course on MRD will take place in Prague from February 17-19, 2027. More information and registration will be available in autumn 2026.

The 2nd EuroFlow IEI/PID course will be held in Prague in June and is an advanced course on the application of flow cytometry in the diagnosis and classification of Primary Immunodeficiencies. It offers in-depth training on the analysis and interpretation of standardized flow cytometry (FC) data in the context of primary immunodeficiencies (PID). The program builds upon the EuroFlow IEI-PID algorithm, published by Van Dongen et al. (2019), a widely adopted tool for screening PID disorders with flow cytometry. For classifying antibody deficiencies, this algorithm recommends using IgH isotype tubes in parallel with the central PID orientation analysis, whereas for excluding (S)CID combined analysis of PIDOT and SCID/RTE tubes are advised. Such detailed level of analysis of T- and B-cell compartments contributes to early/accurate diagnosis and classification of IEI-PID patients.
