Based on the main objective of EuroFlow, the operational goals can be defined as innovation of flow cytometry at several levels: new antibodies, new immunostaining techniques, new software for data analysis, and new immunostaining protocols.

Exploitation of these new diagnostic tools and strategies will result in evidence-based diagnostic guidelines that will be distributed by the participants of EuroFlow throughout Europe, particularly through national quality assurance programs.

As soon as standardized within the EuroFlow consortium, all results and technical tools will be disclosed to non-participating institutes in Europe and world-wide via symposia, publications in high-ranking international SCI journals, information booklets, laboratory wall-charts, and a website.
