EuroFlow Pre-ESID Flow Cytometry Workshop

The EuroFlow IEI-PID Workshop is designed for clinical immunologists, laboratory (diagnostic/medical) immunologists, and technicians interested in the application of flow cytometry for the diagnosis and classification of IEI-PID patients. Participants will gain knowledge of the standardized, ISO15189-compatible, and clinically validated EuroFlow antibody panels, as well as the corresponding age-related reference data for immune cell subsets, data bases with hundreds of well-defined (genetically annotated) cases, and the software tools for automated gating and classification, providing automated reports, taking age into account.

Key topics include standardization, age-related reference values, data bases, EQA and algorithm-based screening for low-TREC newborns and other IEI-PID patients and novel immune biomarkers to predict clinical outcome in CVID patients.
